LIQUID BLACK SOAP

Liquid Black Soap is a natural, plant-based cleansing solution traditionally derived from West African black soap, which is made using centuries-old methods passed down through generations. This soap is originally created by sun-drying and roasting plant materials such as cocoa pods, plantain skins, palm tree leaves, and shea bark, which are then mixed with coconut oil, palm kernel oil, shea butter, or cocoa butter and water to create a soft, dark brown to black cleansing paste. To formulate liquid black soap, this paste is diluted and filtered into a fluid, pourable form for easier use in modern skincare routines.

Unlike commercial soaps that often contain harsh surfactants, synthetic preservatives, and artificial fragrances, authentic liquid black soap is typically free from sulfates, parabens, and chemical foaming agents, making it a gentler yet effective cleanser suitable for a wide range of skin types. It is rich in natural saponins, glycerin, antioxidants, and fatty acids, which work synergistically to cleanse, moisturize, exfoliate, and soothe the skin. Liquid black soap is widely respected for its versatility and is often used as a facial cleanser, body wash, shampoo, or even shaving gel.
